2 Months To Go!

Wow has it already been over two weeks since I posted? I can't believe how the time has flown by. It has been so incredibly busy here that I just feel like January is disappearing (which is ok with me because that means we're getting closer to D-Day... delivery day of course).

Troy's parents were out here a few weeks ago to hang out and buy us our glider and we had a great time. After many hours and at least 10 different stores we finally found the glider that I was looking for to match the crib and dresser. Yay! I guess it's true that persistence really does pay off. We had a fun time seeing the new daddy put it together and got some great pics all throughout the night. We even got to dress daddy up, which is always a fun way to torture him!

California was also a blast. It was so great to see all of the family again. It had been over 2 years since I had visited out there and I hadn't seen a lot of the family since our wedding in 2005. The baby shower was so much fun, from playing dirty diaper games (which were really melted chocolate bars) to getting tons of awesome presents... I couldn't have asked for more! We got tons of adorable clothes and some great goodies like a video monitor from my aunt and uncle, a baby swing from my grandparents, and our stroller and car seat from my parents along with other wonderful gifts. Thanks to everyone for making that day so special for us! I will get some pictures up of the shower soon!

Right now I am fighting a cold has been bothering me for over a week now and it's getting a bit depressing. It's really hard not being able to take any medicine and I think that is actually making the cold last longer and spread down to my throat and chest since I woke up yesterday with a slight cough and it is gradually getting worse. Troy is away this weekend at Willow's High School winter camp... I miss my sweetie :( Can't wait for him to get home tomorrow night.

As far as baby news goes I went to the doctor yesterday and at 31 weeks (only 9 to go!) the baby is head-down and in birthing position. The doctor told me that 96% of babies stay this way so it's looking good that I will have a normal delivery which I was really concerned about since both of my 20 week ultrasounds showed the baby as breech. I am finally starting to not be quite so worried all the time and am letting some of that stuff go. I am getting pretty tired of the pregnancy and Troy and I both are just ready for this little baby to get here! Whenever I go to a doctor's appointment my students ask me if I saw the baby and why I didn't get the baby out. I think they think there is a big zipper or something so I can just open it up and look at the little squirt. Too bad there isn't :(

Hopefully next time I post my cold will be gone and the temperature outside will be above -2 degrees. As for now, it's colds all around!
